So sore today

And I LOVE it! :) I don’t like to say I’ve started counting calories, but I’m going to start adding an estimate of each meal so I can be a little more aware. Usually I don’t care or think about it.

Food intake :

Breakfast : Kashi go lean with barely any vanilla almond milk (I ran out as soon as I started pouring) - Estimate 205 calories

Lunch : Grilled pepper jack, fried egg sandwich - Estimate 320 calories

Gym : Cardio day. 3 mile intervals; Run, jog, sprint and walked incline - Burned approximately 300 calories

Snack : Protein shake - 80 calories

Dinner : Six inch subway turkey on wheat with provolone, lettuce, pickles and onions - Estimate 450 calories

Snack : 2tbsp of ice cream - Estimate 100 calories? If half a cup is 140 calories then.. Sure.

* I really had to resist the urge to binge tonight. Oh will power..

Calories - estimate 1,155

Also, I got my ukulele today and I have a job interview with Nike soon :) Today is a good day.

Breakfast : 2 pieces of whole grain toast with almond butter and honey, half a small coffee cup of sweetened vanilla almond milk
* The 1000 calorie workout
Lunch : Spinach salad with pan cooked chicken breast, fetta cheese, sliced almonds, 1 sliced mushroom and 1 hard boiled egg and artichoke hearts with Asian sesame dressing on the side
Gym : Intense leg day + cardio - Run 1 mile, walk incline .20 of a mile, sprint .30 of a mile = 1.5 miles
Dinner : 2 scramble eggs with spinach and salsa

Food :

Food intake :

Breakfast : 2 poached eggs over asparagus, lightly sprinkled in Parmesan cheese, 1 cup of green tea

Snack : Blackberry fruit spread & almond butter sammie

Gym : Worked out at a different location today. Bigger, yes, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the older equipment. Anyway, my legs were already a bit sore today when I woke up simply from my outdoor run yesterday (yeah, I’m a pansy.) We’ll see how they feel tomorrow.

Snack : Peanut butter Luna bar

Dinner : Whole foods curry tofu salad

Desert : Banana slices topped with almond butter (frozen)

Snack : 2 sonic cheese sticks

Insanity Day 18 : Cardio Recovery

Workout : I did Pure Cardio and Cardio abs instead since I was sick yesterday and skipped it.

Food Intake :

Breakfast : Strawberry honey Greek yogurt with sliced bananas, pecans, almonds and cinnamon, 4 strips of turkey bacon, scrambled eggs with salsa, red pepper, spinach, mushroom and red onion and organic chai tea. (see previous post for picture)

Lunch : 1 piece of toast with avocado and a fried egg, 1 Abita strawberry beer (with my mumz)

Dinner : I was slammed at work and didn’t have time to even make myself a glass of water.  So no dinner :(

Conclusion : I’m so sleepy!! And only eating twice today has made me blahh, although I’m really not hungry anymore. What’s crazy is I’m more bloated since I haven’t eaten than when I over eat. Bedtime!

Strawberry honey Greek yogurt with sliced bananas, pecans, almonds and cinnamon, 4 strips of turkey bacon, scrambled eggs with salsa, red pepper, spinach, mushroom and red onion and organic chai tea.

Insanity. Day 2 : Plyo Cardio Circuit

Workout : Kicked my ass as Insanity usually does.

Food diary :

Breakfast : 2 1/2tbsp of honey Greek yogurt with 4 sliced strawberries and a dash of cinnamon, 2 apple slices and 1 kiwi

Snack : 1 granny smith apple

Lunch : Spaghetti-O’s and small bag of kettle chips (don’t judge me)

Snack : Hotdog (again, don’t judge me) and half an almond butter and blackberry preserves sandwich

Dinner : Butternut squash ravioli

Conclusion : I suck!

Insanity. Day 1 : Fit Test

Switch kicks : 89

Power jacks : 47

Power knees : 71

Power jumps : 26

Globe jumps : 9

Suicide jumps : 14

Push-up jacks : 23

Alternating knees : 59

Food diary :

Breakfast : 2tbsp of honey Greek yogurt with half of a banana, half a cup of coffee with a tbsp of vanilla almond milk and a splash of vanilla creamer.

Lunch : Grilled chicken (ranch) wrap & sweet potato bites.

Dinner : Spaghetti (strictly noodles, ragu and a pinch of garlic powder), 1 piece of garlic bread, 4 meatballs, 1 samoas girl scout cookie. (My mom’s cooking. Had to jump in before she started adding a bunch of random things.)

Conclusion : I need to focus on eating much cleaner and six times a day. For whatever reason I haven’t had much of an appetite lately. We all know abs are made in the kitchen…
